What does it mean to be a/n Soldier, Adventurer, or Scholar?

Writing doesn't only involve lore though; it also involves mechanics. Right now, you're trying to use mechanic labeling to define lore when they're two separate entities - just like the idea of professions being unable to use certain weapons is simply false.

And so far, the whole scholar/adventurer/soldier thing is an outdated mechanic labeling that is synonymous with "light armor/medium armor/heavy armor". The three terms haven't really been used since pre-release, and I don't even think the term "soldier" was ever used to describe revenant. In fact, revenants were, in lore, said to be scholars who donned heavy armor.
