Looking for a

WvW Roam / Solo build for 1v1 fights and camps. I don't if I should go Deadeye or Daredevil. I want to be able to fight and hold my own while evade and get out quick if need be. Right now using S/D core until I can unlock the others.

All is Berserker atm. Gear wise.

Core S/D should already serve you nicely in that regard... Or you could just swap to DrD Staff or D/P.

I don't recommend Deadeye. It's a lot harder to get working and the amount of effort you put into getting it working doesn't necessarily pay off in the end, compared to doing something similar with Core or DrD. If you are used the fluid and mobile thief, Deadeye has some reality checks for you.

Not saying Deadeye can't work, but I am saying that it is harder to get it work. Basically requires you to unlearn some things core taught you.

Full zerker is suicidal, there's just too many potential oneshots coming your way. I'd invest in some Marauder trinkets at the very least.On the other hand... If you have to run full zerk, you could try running a cheeky (double)backstab or DJ build with Deadeye, as your stealth-access is through the roof thanks to the elite and Rifle. I don't recommend it, they have one trick, and if it fails they have to pull out... But it's there. Only really recommend it against easily ganked rallybots.

Yea I am leaning towards Daredevil myself after reading some of the other threads. I am using Zerk for now as I can't afford what I really need which is Marauders. Was thinking D/P but I do like S/D as well, but I like range as an option.

I was playing some WvW and while I enjoyed it, I felt not bad around 1v1 but 1vs2 I felt squishy and I didn't feel comfortable, so yes gear wise I need something better to survive.

Mix Valk and Zerk you can get them both for cheap while you work towards Marauder Gear, Zerk Thieves will almost always feel Squish.

Awesome, big help, thanks, i'll be sure to buy 3 pieces of Valk armor, i'll have 3 pieces of Zerk as well, and i'll be sure to get ascended Marauders trinkets. How many pieces do you recommended? of Valk should I obtain to not be so squishy?
