Wouldn't want to see circles, but some visible strategy would make it easier to watch and for people to engage with. Also. not always ending with two blobs mashing into one another- which, in simple terms, is what happens in every single gvg in GW2.I hope it's gets a lot more popular but for that to happen many more guilds and players need to come back and find this interesting- and for that to happen, it needs Anet to develop some proper gvg maps and areas. I agree with previous posts, that double elimination would be better, even if it means a longer tourney. Plus, it appears that some guilds are getting a first round bye? Without seeding, that doesn't seem totally fair. Just my opinion.Still glad you are organizing it, I know it is tough. It is good to have something instead of nothing :)So there is a tournament discord that all the participating guilds are in, where the leaders discussed the issue, the majority wanted seeding and single elimination. The problem was double elimination would have lasted 7 to 8 weeks, and most guilds did not want to have it last that long. The reason for the byes, was due to seeding. We had 4 veteran external guild leaders who GVG and are not participating, help assist and agree to who is seeded where, overall, the guilds participating were very happy with the process and thus tournament is going to go well, Thank you everyone who helped make this happen!
