TheGrimm.5624
In an ideal world salvaging charges would be something that would appear in a wallet type fashion. But to keep in thoughts of allowing players to craft items and also create a material sync, players should be able to craft a Master Salvaging Pack. This pack would act like the a portal tome where I can load other items into it. When a kit is converted into charges for the pack there would be a cost of 1 charge from that kit as price for the conversion. The type of kit being applied to the pack would define the type of charge being added. When a player needed to salvage using the pack they would select which type of charge they were using as they do today with things like Copper-Fed Salvage-amatic. With the combination of this crafted tool and a shard inventory slot this would allow players to free up space, pool salvage charges together for a QoL change, create an additional material sync and still require some cost since converting would eat into some of the charges and mats would be needed to craft this pack. It would also be optional since players would have to actively choose when to load in additional charges. These packs should be able to store an unlimited number of charges. An added bit for ANet would be to release a gem-store version of this that would allow players to merge in their copper-fed and silver-fed salvage-o-matics into this pack as well.
