Everything was fine while ingame: I logged out completely and immediately restarted the game because I forgot something then I got the connection error message. My internet connection is fine though. Retrying..." on the launcher means it's failing to connect to the patch server, or is receiving bad responses. To manually select a patch server, use the option:-assetsrv 54.236.138.176The IPs change regularly, so don't set it and forget it. To lookup an IP yourself, open a command prompt (cmd.exe) and enter:nslookup assetcdn.101.arenanetworks.com 8.8.8.8To clear your DNS cache instead, open a command prompt and enter:ipconfig /flushdnsFor more information, you can enable logging (-log), which will log what the launcher is actually doing and save it as %appdata%/Guild Wars 2/Gw2.log Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
