What they miss

Many players have been led to believe that there is only one "correct" way to play any given build or game. This is false. Mechanically repeating a "meta" series of moves is monumentally boring. It stultifies thought and adaptation and it drives away new players when they are criticized for not doing so.

I propose that this approach is not skilled play. Rote repetition is a first step to skill only.
