JayAction.9056 Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 One of the major issues in WvW right now is that many players skip taking objectives in order to force fights, which Is comparable to a person in PvP ignoring capping the circles to chase opponents across the map. It's not that big of a deal in small instances, but there are entire servers, like maguuma, that play this way. In my opinion this is one of the biggest things that has lead to the decline of WvW over the years and I'm sure many would agree. With the new alliance system working to hopefully balance coverage and population, I think a system that encourages players to cap and hold objectives with the incentive of small served-wide incremental character bonuses would give more of a reason to "win". Bigger objectives = Bigger bonusesI imagine this would encourage more natural encounters in WvW between groups looking to play for score, and those looking to have more combat engages.

Dawdler.8521 Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 If sPvP objective circles required several gold and 30m or more of seige under a hail of ACs to enter I am fairly kitten sure they would skip them too.
