TheFiftGuy.6495
As someone who just finished an ascended set for the first time (berserker/zojja's) sword/axe.How good is the glint/shiro combo overall in pve, so far in fractals and open world it seems really good. lunaeclipse.6843
There are rumors of power revenant (I think its shiro/jalis, not sure) benchmarking at 28k dps. If a power rev can achieve 20k, reliably, in a raid I will gladly accept them in my teams now.
Ojimaru.8970
I still think Jalis/Shiro is still better for DPS, unless you're planning to fill gaps in your team's boon sharing.
Blood Red Arachnid.2493
I just did a quick test. With no food, I capped at 27.8k using Jalis/Shiro. With food I'd probably hit 29k. This is a bit stronger than using glint/shiro (26k and change) and significantly stronger than glint/jalis (24k). Though this Jalis/Shiro does have less cleave than the other options. The ICD on Impossible Odds means it only does more damage against single targets. Glint, however, drops Elemental Blast onto a group after every weapon swap. So, while Glint + Jalis has the lowest single target damage, it has the highest cleave.
Kain Francois.4328
So in about 4 months we could get a 10% dmg buff an we'll be fine?

Are you buffing with phase traversal or just impossible odds until out of energy? Sword Axe with sword 2 on recharge after auto-chain?

Are you buffing with phase traversal or just impossible odds until out of energy? Sword Axe with sword 2 on recharge after auto-chain?My rotation wasn't that complicated. Or... even optimized, really. I use sword/sword.(1) Start the fight in Jalis. Use sword 2, sword 4, sword 5, then swap to Shiro.(2) In Shiro, keep Impossible Odds up at all times. Use sword 2 when off cooldown and off chain. Swap to Jalis when possible.(3) While in Jalis, keep Vengeful Hammers up at all times. Use sword 2 and sword 4 when off cooldown and off chain. When possible, swap to shiro, and repeat from step 2. For the golem test I went with the standard: Two Banners, Empower Allies from warrior, Frost/Sun Spirit + Spotter from druid. All regular boons, enemy capped at 25 vulnerability.
Aninika.6819
What about your traits? I managed to pull 22k on Sab using this rotation (we didn't have good boon uptime and no druids either), and I'd like to optimize my build as much as possible.
