ugrakarma.9416
I make a Druid healer because I heard it was easy on Raids. Does anyone have tips or videos to practice with? The damage classes I know they practice in golem, but how to train a healer?
DuckDuckBOOM.4097
I would recommend running around open world and getting used to staff/CA skills at first. Basic keep people alive rotation is staff 1/2. Swap to CA 4/2 leave CA to stack might and heal. CA3, staff 3 and #6 are your burst heals. Don't camp CA. Learn to let people playing poorly die. Like burst heal ppl that stray from the group and take too much damage but if the same ppl keep screwing up, let them die. You will waste too much on saving 1 person and let the rest of your team die in the end. They need to stack on the boss and on the team to get heals.Once you learn the gist of stuff, ideally you practice in raids. While it's scary, 1 good healer can keep 10 ppl alive. If you are in a static, pair up with your best druid healer. If not, join a wing 1 training run when they pop up. While some ppl might say fotm, pugs run around like crazy in fotm compared to raids. The lack of structure and second healer actually makes it much harder to heal.Tips for wing 1, glyph of tides at VG to push red orbs. Entangle for Gorsy to stop spirits from merging with him. Let the other druid kite at Sab. Other reason to heal with an experienced druid is you will somewhat mirror/complement their build. Like communicate to make sure you don't overlap spirits. Other skills will mirror like both of you bring tides at VG. Or both of you bring protect me for stun breaks at sloth.

Hawken.7932
Just another comment here on the open world: I’ve found jumping into the HoT meta events is a great way to practice. Also bounty groups in PoF can often use healing.
Fluffball.8307
Rarely I entertain myself by healing my pet while it kills champs or elites.
