low fps due to scourge changes?

Yep definitely noticeable. Using it to my advantage now. My fps drops but I know those sitting in shades are having their fps drop too paralyzing them. Killing players much easier now when F2-F5 is spammed.

Unintended change, but unfortunately players put their foot in their mouths asking for some sort of warning.

It is rather annoying, but at the same time I am finding it funny as hell. Zergs came out in force on reset and the new effects really show the it works. It remind me of these cartoons where tracks is quickly laid in front of a moving train to avoid it derailing. You could see every new circle expansion as the zerg moved around, not a single gap in coverage. Just AoE everywhere.

All I have to do is put on my sunglasses and play Music Sounds Better With You in the background and I am brought back to pre2k XDYesterday the ground was just pulsing in sm, I did not know where it began or ended.

While my FPS doesn't seem to be suffering too badly on the computer side of things, my brain's FPS seems to drop a tad. Distracting AF. I don't understand how people found it hard to stay out of shades without this noise. Just like spellbreaker bubbles, they're easy enough to avoid in open field fights, and a pulsing red circle isn't gonna help you if you have to push a hot choke. This change was unnecessary and I think largely unwanted.
