Delweyn.1309 Posted February 10, 2018 Share Posted February 10, 2018 ... i was ranked 1606, with much more matches than required but playing carefully, just 1 match from time to time to keep ranked, then...a wednesday afternoon, I decided to play numerous matches in a row and then lost maybe 9/10 matches (with 1 win maybe).and when down from 1606 to 153x in few hours.Up to you. And i was doing even better this season, but got the bad idea to play a wednesday afternoon and stupid enought to keep playing, thinking thet Anet changed their lose/win streaks philosophy. If not then the system is working as intended.If you want to win consistently then you have to be the one to make the difference and not always it will be possible. It sure is hard. You didnt even drop that much, about 80 points ? you are still orbitating in the zone you were before. You can't expect only to climb, the system is made in a way that it is IMPOSSIBLE to win every single match. You will get win streaks and lose streaks. Some say that it is wrong. I say that it's carry or face the fact that you can lose. In every games soloQ works like that, in every games people will whine about it blaming teammates. I too think that most of the time my teammates are retarded, but i can't change their mind so i do need to improve. Also sometimes i like to have a laugh about the absurd strategies that i see. I am shuffling between gold 2 and plat 2 every season (going up and down) and I am not one of the good players... I did however notice that some people with old builds are super easy to defeat (for instnace Holos lost their main source of condi cleanse and die in 2 sometimes condi 1 burst), so I would imagine now is not a good time to play competitively. But you can see too some matches where you lose because you have a concentration of the worst players in your team.And then, the famous day of wednesday, every lose matchs were this situation of concentration of bad players.I forget to mention that the first match lost at 1606, was vs a team of 3 scourges (after the patch) vs our balanced team. And we lost !!! The score was tight like 485 to 503. And I remember my 4 allies coming all from close at 4, where they fought vs 1 necro and an inge. They spend the last minutes of the match doing 4v2 at close, leaving me alone vs 1 scourge each in the other 2 points + 1 roaming thief.And 1 bad match is ok. But when in the next match you play with 3 allies taking close at beginning, you begin to have some doubs.The stupid system wants you to lose at some moments. OK. REMEMBER the first team to tilt is the team that lose. So probably it's not totally your fault for the defeat but it's partially also your fault.You probably tilted even harder because you lost the platinum which you were very happy with. This lead to a lose streak because you were tilting and wanted that emblem back. Remember that if you by pure case stepped for a game in platinum that doesn't make you a stable platinum player. You have to be able to pull out costantly a minimum performance.You want to climb ? Play better, no defeat is not partially your fault. Also consider that when you are on a losing streak and you are not calm you should stop playing ranked, you are digging your own rank grave.As i said, carry or be prepared to lose. Well u can believe me or not. I'm not the best player and In didn"t say thay I played perfectly. But I can judge thr lvl of the ennemies and see what my team is doing. And every single match where allies being inferior in all.It was not me playing better or worst, it was each time my mates being inferior.You can think too that if I went from gold 3 to low plat 2 it was maybe not only chance no ? Relativity of the point of view should be a thing that everybody should keep in mind.Since the system is not a person watching every single game to decide who played better and who worse, such a system could not exist, it assumes that if you lost every single member of the team is at fault, someone more, someone less. So far, i've had : bunker games, people consistently left sides ( ours) to face 2 guardians on mid ( held by opponent) although i always typed to keep sidesall 5 running back to defend lord at 400-400 ( tri cap for ours) or so although i spammed map to notalone on stillness and tranq although i pinged map on theseThese are only 3 matchs, stuff can happen obviously, but i fail to see what you can do better when people aren't about to read..
