SLOW DOWNLOAD

Hey guys

Don't know if this is the right section to ask this question, but my gw2 client is really REALLY slow at downloading, with capping at a MAX of mb/sec if I'm lucky.Anyone knows how I can fix this?

There's no fix for something like that, it depends on your internet provider.

I assume it slows down more if you're downloading right as a patch hits and everyone else is also downloading. It feels that way to me.

The download speeds are all over the place and watching it is frustrating. I just let it run in the background and in the end the super fast parts even out the super slow parts. When it's ready I start it up.

There isn’t really a fix. It is something you see with most games. And it makes sense. Gw2 needs to buy bandwidth at the data center. This influences the ping in game and the download speed. Keeping the in game ping low is a higher priority.

Just when patches hits it can be very slow of course but thats normal due to load.
