Alt account "joining" in PvP

As we all know. People will cheat whereever they can.

A new way is to have two accounts.One main account where they want all the wins and good stuff.and an alt account which they use for one purpose: LOSE A PVP RANKED MATCH

I have already seen it many times. A few friends and guildies has too. It is a growing problem. And there's no consequence for that cheat. I think it's on the level of hacking. due to them unevening the odds for the teams, ensuring their own win at the cost of others time and fun.It is still growing bigger. and I see it more and more.

Arena Net needs to make an option to report this. and find out from what location the ALT account it from. find a matching account (the main) and bad both for a period as a punishment.

This is not new by any means. The cheaterboard trolls have been doing this plus much more from mama's basement since season 6ish. Cheat kids will do whatever they can when there is a lack of skill. The cheaterboard currently has no worth in pvp with the wintraders, hackers, and bots on top of the worthless afk pve reward hunters ruining games.

Right now unless you play a zzzZZZzzz bunker build or a #5 bow teef build for easy circlequest wins you may have to join a friend and wintrade since there is no downside to it. There is no actions taken against anyone who does it from what we have seen with about 5 seasons of it now. You may just get a small not even wrist slap but a slight pat on your hand and told "you are a bad bad player". Then just keep doing it.

Most players that are legit and actually had skill have left for unranked or other games while rank swirls the bowl.

You can’t.

If same team, the alt will tryhard for the win. If tryharding fails, he can DC to save his buddy MMR loss.

Match syncing is really easy. The point is they DC, or play badly depending on if they are on the wrong team as stated. Works well, and frustrates me incredibly. Please don't take PvP seriously in GW2. The devs game up on it long ago, and there's no reason you should care. You won't get anywhere playing fair, and cheating only makes the problem worse. The only solution is just to accept that match fixing is a thing, and don't care about your loss rate.
