New player, NA, Central time, casual to semi-hardcore interest.

Hello,

Despite my forum name, I go by Dubs, or Dubears (pronounced Du-bears). I am a new player to the game, despite the fact that i purchased it in 2012/2013 when it came out.

I have hardcore and semi hardcore experience in many mmo games that are similar in fashion to gw2, thus i know i possess the ability to do it here, with some practice of course.

However, i am most particularly looking for a smaller guild, of closer individuals, to be apart of. I find the larger guilds, even if they have a small core group, are harder to assimilate into. Just my personal experience. I am not opposed to trying one however. I would like to be up front, i will ask a lot of questions. I prefer voice communications but it is not required.

We are a stable and thriving PvX/WvW guild, currently at 200 members. We have no representation requirement as long as you make an effort to engage with the guild and join us for 1-2 WvW raids per week. We can offer all the amenities of a PvE guild and provide you with a hardcore WvW raiding experience, running an average of 10-15 during WvW raids. (Server Transfer may be required for that though).

Still, our PvE and PvP experience should be enough to keep you engaged. We devote a single night a week to Raiding and have a fully upgraded guild hall and packed Discord channel.

I think the guild I'm in could be a good fit for you, as we do have a mix of casual and somewhat hardcore gamers... though their attitude isn't what you'd expect of the "hardcore" type. Everyone is very friendly and team-oriented. You'd have a lot of help learning the ropes and polishing up your build, as well as a ton of patience for things like fractals, raids, PvP and anything else you're interested in getting into.

Remnants of Hope [HOPE] is a gaming community with very active forums, teamspeak and group events almost every day of the week, including boss trains, training and progression raids, meta events, dungeons, fractals... and gosh so much more! I hear you about larger guilds being hard to assimilate into. I'm pretty solidly in the introvert camp... so finding my place in a group of people can be really stressful for me. I can tell you, RoH is different than most other "big" guilds (I don't think we're THAT big, we have a couple dozen really regular players and a lot who are on at least every week or so). We have the numbers to tackle just about any content in the game, but they're so open and welcoming to new folks. I've had such a great experience personally that I somehow ended up in recruitment (which is crazy... I swear I'm really an introvert).

hi Dubears. i'd offer ya an invitation to join our guild. our number is medium. half of it is inactive but we don't kick due to that. so we're on a smaller scale. we never let our "core" run together in a group more than 2-3 to make sure that other players can join too. it's to break away from most guild "inner circle" or what is so called tight knit group. overall make our community quite diverse.we have vets who are still deployed, even doctors who couldn't game much but still log in for daily rewards and chat/play whenever they have the time.we also have quite a number of gamer grills. i think it's more or less say it out loud that everyone is having a great time here or they wouldn't bother.we have Discord voice comm and it's very active during the day since we all adults with work life. our prime time is after 7pm CST most evenings.we run end game trainings and other events a lot to help our new mems catch up to speed. also have a website and it's about to be updated on the sPvP side too.we have drinking dungeons on the weekends to let loose sometimes. otherwise, ask away or find out more about us here: https://www.reddit.com/r/guildrecruitment/comments/7u0gj4/napvxintense_pleasure_mmm_chill_guild_lfm/

Hey man, Not sure if you're still looking a guild but The Laughing Llamas would be a WAY better fit than the rest of these guilds. We are military owned and operated, and we stick with those ideals on how we run the gild, missions, and in our humor.
