SonicfanO.2485
Is it possible for members of other races to become members of any of the colleges?
Tyson.5160
Yes. Scarlet Briar studied all three, with permission from the council.
Castigator.3470
Sure, this is how Asura make their distinction from merely intelligent to true genius. But, let's say, a Human might be willing to begin his studies on statics, or dynamics, or synergetics. It won't be easy. It is likely the asura have admission tests, and, in the case of foreigners, admission fees in place. Then you have to go through the curriculum like everybody else. Should you graduate, you might even be able to join a Krewe.Beware, though. Many Asura would rather risk their personnel over expensive equipment like golems. The Inquest generally doesn't allow foreigners to join their ranks. They may employ them as dumb muscle, but never let them glance into their machinations. No loss, though, the asuran saying "He graduated the Inquest." means someone died, likely at their hands.Their turnover is massive, considering they have even fewer reservations about sacrificing others for their ends than normal asura.(Plus, the Commander and Joko have a habit of killing large quantities of Inquest members. I mean: How many players have the Inquest's Bane achievement?)
Konig Des Todes.2086
Scarlet is pretty much the sole individual known to have joined the asura colleges. She did so after having a sponsor promote her case to the Arcane Council. We do see a number of non-asura in the Inquest, albeit small number, however every one of these cases - including Scarlet - led to the Inquest exploiting the employment and using the person as either a scapegoat or a new test subject.
