Achievement mistake?

Why am I still shown that I earn 10 ap from daily but in fact I've reached the maximum? That's very confusing. Why doesn't it show 0 ap? I only noticed today that my ap didn't rise after dailes, so I guess it capped.

Yep it capped, and it will still claim you got 10 AP even though you really didn’t.

No AP points. But you do get the 2 gold. That is what matters.

The running suspicion is that it is actually still counting those APs in case Anet ever decided to change the cap value. In the meantime it is however very confusing.

I capped mine ages ago.. But I'm still doing daily for the gold and pvp/wvw potions etc

• Offer an achievement, with a minor reward, for hitting the cap; that way you know that you've hit it.
• Showing the total progress towards the cap in the achievement panel, rather than forcing some veterans to manually track where they are (i.e. those with monthly points from the early years).

Yeah, the cap stinks, but the two gold per day is still worth the time and effort. Here's to hoping they increase the cap one day . . . soon.

nope agent of entropy pops up but it shows no AP gain

Ah, good to know! I wonder if the cause of the discrepancy is in the different cap mechanics?

Either way, making sure the AP notice actually matches reality would be very welcome!

Ah, good to know! I wonder if the cause of the discrepancy is in the different cap mechanics?Apparently. That's why there's a suspicion that in this specific case APs are still actually counted and tracked internally, and the cap is applied only later on.
