Question about fractal Infusions from a newbie

i got Ascended jewelry which i now want to upgrade for t1+t2 agony resistance, my question is if i use this upgrade on my gear:https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mighty_5_Agony_Infusionwill i get the +5 damage stat outside of fractals? or is that stat only work for fractals?noob question, i know :)

You can use infusions in ur trinkets, armor and weapons. And those stats work in pve.

you can use the upgrades for wvw which will also work for pve with the +5 healing for example, but will not do anything for the fractals agony resistance. You must use the agony resistance if you want to play fractals the nice thing is they have a golem you can upgrade all that without using crafting if you get into it you can easily just play and improve the AR the goal is 150 AR which is max needed you will however need to learn the upgrades to the rings and back pack and have all ascended armor and weapons except the back pack can be exotic if you make it yourself very few ascended have the AR slot on them good in a pinch if needed. Also remember you cannot advance your level with a lower level.
