Smekl.3718 Posted March 23, 2018 Share Posted March 23, 2018 So i have been doing the achievement for the legendary precursor Storm.the third achievement (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Meteorlogicus_III:_Storm)requires the player to complete the temple events in the Ruins of Orr. And I'm not sure if it's just me or these events are horrifically HARD to complete? and i am not talking about the difficulty of the event itself, I'm talking about the frequency that it occurs. the past month I logged in at any chance that I had just to check if the temples are contested so I can complete the events, but the temples are always uncontested, which prevents me from completing the achievement, thus I cannot get my legendary weapon.I am posting here 'cause I am kinda desperate for a solution, or maybe someone else who feels the same... TheMaverick.6104 Posted March 23, 2018 Share Posted March 23, 2018 Working om the same part of the collection myself. Got the Lyssa, Dwayna and Melandru ones in rapid succession last night. I know these parts Can be a pain in the back to get sometimes, but you got to keep trying. I was there at around 18.00 gmt. Orr is, ironically, dead these days. I do agree.Collections could be a thing for somebody ( or a way to save money depends the precursor ), but sometimes they take way more time that it should take. Healix.5819 Posted March 23, 2018 Share Posted March 23, 2018 The events only happen every few hours. If you're just logging in for a minutes to check, you'll probably always miss it. Sit there and wait for it, or create a free account and park it out there. If you want a guaranteed contested temple, show up after a patch when new instances are spawned, or spawn one yourself with the help of up to 70 people to fill the map. I happened to be online and be called by a player who was doing the same part as me, and we exchanged contacts in order to call each other if we would have happened to find a not broken event ).
