Mr Quikeh.5461
You get 70fps? And you think that’s bad
Yamazuki.6073
Given your vague specs, your PC doesn't sound "decent". You didn't provide exact names of your processor/gpu, but a quad core with that stock frequencies are either on laptops or could be an ~11 yr old intel desktop processor or one of AMD's older terrible phenom processors.MMORPGs also don't aim to run at 144 fps+, 30/60 are realistic numbers depending on the computer and number of people on the screen. Kururu.8140
To be honest your PC doesn't look too decent like you said. Remember, GW2 relies on the CPU more than anything else. This game is poorly optimised and quite old so expecting consistently super high FPS is pretty silly unless you run potato settings on a fantastic PC. Oglaf.1074
4GB of RAM in 2018 is not “decent”...
Zalavaaris.5329
What's the refresh rate on your monitor? The reason I ask is because with your PC specs I doubt you went and purchased a 144hz gaming monitor. So the fps you can actually see is dependent on your hz. If it's a 60hz monitor you may have an fps counter of 100 but the screen is only refreshing 60 times per second so you will only see 60. 70 isn't bad in all honesty.
