Lankybrit.4598
Hi,Is there a way to remove a transmutation to have it revert to the original look?I really have no interest in the Wardrobe aspect of the game, but just did a transmutation to see how it worked. Now I want it back the the original look.Thanks.
Dawdler.8521
All skin you have will be unlocked. Transmute it again to the original skin. You cant undo a transmute but you get the free preview.
Lankybrit.4598
It's a backpack. I only have Multi-tool and Divinity's Reach backpacks unlocked. I don't have a generic backpack unlocked. So, I guess I'm out of luck. This seems really bad. Why would they not allow you to remove a transmute? It makes no sense.

And since if for some reason you transmuted then decided you didn't like the new choice you'd made normally you can always transmute it back. I've never really seen people call the system bad though, it's considerably better by a lot than what's in a lot of other games in terms of fashion and customization. derd.6413
if you really don't like the look of your backpack, turn it off

Dawdler.8521
Yeah there is no such thing as a "generic" backpack. You either have the skins available you have previously equipped or you have it ticked off.
Nyion.6057
"Generic backpack" may be the one that is invisible. And if that is the case, you can tick this little checkbox next to your backpack to hide/show it.
Steve The Cynic.3217
Yeah, my vote is to hide the backpack. The only "generic" is the "Backpack Strap" class (of which there are several, acquired in different ways), and it has no skin rather than an invisible skin. Lankybrit.4598
I just checked. The actual backpack is Cavaliers Spineguard. Why haven't I got the skin for that? I want the look of whatever backpack is equipped. I really messed up trying out the wardrobe system it seems. Ahh, I just checked another of my characters. She has Fiber Splice. It's exactly the same as not having a backpack. I'll just click to not show it.
mercury ranique.2170
The spineguard doesn’t have a skin. It is a backitem you wear under your clothes. So it makes sense. You can’t unlock the skin of an item that has no skin. But you can hide any backpack equipped to hide the skin, which results in a backpack without a skin.
