Please, make it stop!!! Rip my eyes out!Edit: Since when does Faren have pointy ears?

Since Wintersday.

It's by far the most disturbing piece of art I've ever seen. What sickened mind could create such horrors, I ask thee? :#

Come on, Faren is as much part of the game as the Quaggan.

Come on, Faren is as much part of the game as the Quaggan.

I never doubted that, but seeing him in that particular posture is still pretty disturbing.Then again, seeing Quaggan in the posture might be disturbing as well...

Swordsmaster Faren is just doing what he is good at. And he would probably welcome any underwear customization options he could get his hands on.

Good idea. Well, I could of course welcome any customization feature. But I doubt if I would let my Elly run around in his underwear between all those scary monsters and such. He is already quite vulnerable with his cloth armor on. ;)

Very true. But against the right monsters, even PTV warriors are squishy.Terragriff knows what I'm talking about =)

I am all in for a swimwear outfit and change of undies with limited colour dyes. For the swimwear, to stop players especially guys playing female toons, from runnning all over the map in bikinis, make it usable only near beaches. Please ANet, you give us mounts, ability to sit on chairs and the upcoming change to underwater combat, it's about time that we change our undies after wearing them for 6 long years...

Can we stop it with the prude, puritan garbage already? Our toons kill animals and each other in gruesome ways. We can make our toons literally get plastered with all kinds of booze and liquor. But lord forbid we cannot have the same toons running around in various undergarments....

Ah it's not a because of puritanism. I'm well aware that we have boobs and naked bodies everywhere, 'cause it helps to sell pretty everything.The point is to keep some consistency with the style of the game. Would you like to have "Gundams" or super-deformed minions with the typical korean "cuteness"? I don't. If we're talking about some "reasonable" nudity, I'm fine. If it's something completely out of the context... well, I wouldn't be offended for sure, but I'd put my nose out.

I’m not saying it makes sense. Things like this rarely do. But that doesn’t change how it is most assuredly the reason why Anet won’t implement it.

Come on. That the far east market uses nudity to extremes to sell things doesn't make them owners of any range of nudity. If nudity in GW2 is "reasonable", it is so because the legal and cultural limits the actual(western) market of the game have, not because it needs to avoid being "asian".

In this thread there is a selection of swimsuits already in use on the game. Are those non consistent with the game? IMO they are quite consistent and appropriate. All people is asking is for those kind of items: those that makes sense for our market/audience/PG rating. No more (But no less either).

Personally I'm surprised, why the game doesn't offer in the character creation any options of all to give the character out of a list of possible options some kind of differently looking undergarments for the moments to see them, when they player takes off all of their equipment...

To me is undergarment also part of your characters "fashion", same as much as like all the different kinds of armor skins, so I#m versurprise that this game offers for 6 years now absolutely no improvements and expansions in that area of the game, letting every single character run around in exactly the same standard ugly looking undergarments...

or had in all these years no single deve that is working for armor skins, outfits ect. ever the desire to work on more nicer looking dyeable undergarments to increase our options in how our characters can look, when we take off all our armor???Can't believe, that they did doo allö this work so far just only for a hand full of NPCsfor giving them swim suits, but we players self can#t wear anythign like tha,t nor change our 6 years OLD UNDERGARMENTS..

Don't want to think about it, how damn sweaty and dirty these must be after wearing the same undergarments for over 2190 days, with our characters without ever changing them ... xDHow dare you Anet to let our characters become so dirty and unhygienic ...

Just can't see they would be innapropriate, we don't speak about sex, lingeries or cute underwears! I have mostly male characters only two females asura and charr. Our characters wear this for what, around 6 years now?! I would enjoy if I can change my human pants! We don't speak about porn or anything! Just take a look on Inquest light chestplate armor on female human: we can see half of your boobs, and so what? We can't have different bras? These are part of Fashion wars! We should have two more armor slots: underwear and head\ears accessory. By the way, this is sad that accessories, rings and trinklets aren't rendered on your character!
