FireBrand : Tomes and weapons

I never paid attention to it because I usually play engineer and your stats aren't changed when you swap to a kit but does it seems logic to you that you actually loose the stats of your weapons while using a tome ?

PS: Nevermind, there was a fluctuation with the "Imbued hast" trait and I can't delete the topic :T
