There's a very frustrating issue with Medblaster...

I like the new scaling, not a fan of how it relies on boons to be effective, but the real problem is when I select an ally to spray them, it instead locks onto the nearest enemy instead of the ally I have targeted or right in front of me. Very frustrating to try spraying / bandage blasting a target running around to my left when the spray and blast insists on pointing towards the enemy nibbling on my right armpit. Do you think they'll change this to prefer ally targets and prioritize targeted allies instead? Can they even do that or is there some setting in my options that I'm not aware of that could help?

Currently, the new implementation of med kit still has skills 1 and 2 as garbage. Do a 5-3-4 combo, follow up with elixir gun acid bomb and super elixir, plus mortar kit for another water field to blast. Fill in the gaps with med kit 1 or 2, but do not anticipate it being a main heal.

I use that combo currently, I just find it annoying how it targets enemies instead of allies so it's so hard to use and it's supposed to be the auto attack, which is sad.

Try to unselect the ground target binding to enemies option. I think this will solve the issue probably.

Already is. I disabled that a while ago.

Healengi is a bit weirdo to play as you control the spray direction by holding right-click and moving camera to the direction you want to heal at and moving around. If you stand still, it'll start spraying at target's direction. In other words, playing heal-engi is a bit like playing FPS from 3rd person perspective. But once you learn to use that kind of targeting, you can accurately heal from long range at the player who needs the heals.

This is probably because you have autotarget turned on in the options. Other than that, please don't use Med Blaster the majority of time. Just do the Med Kit rotation 5-3-4-additional blast finisher to give the most amount of healing for allies. This is the most effective way of using the kit and in PvP you can get the most healing medal even without Mender's Amulet. I've had this happen to me plenty of times.

I know. That rotation was posted earlier and I do that, I'm just annoyed that a basic attack and bandage blast meant to heal continually flips around trying to target enemies. Seems like a bit of an oversight.

Med Blaster would be much better if it had the healing you give to allies increased and it didn't have to rely on them having boons in order to be effective. It would also be nice if you target an ally, press Med Blaster and it keeps healing allies. Right now you can to hold the button to continually heal them which can be annoying.

Bandage Blast, while it's better than the old Med Kit skills, is more of a concept idea rather than the final version. I was thinking if Bandage Blast was a ground targeted skill just like Infusion Bomb and it allows both allies and the engineer can pick up the bandages. In order to keep it balanced and not make it so that the engineer can survive outnumbered fights, it would be better if the number of bandages you throw is reduced from 5 to 3. Keep the healing and the regeneration the bandages give you the same, just reduce the number of bandages.

I haven't had a problem with it, don't use action cam. I agree that it's a setting that likely throwing you off.

What I don't like about it is that it's not classified the same way as an auto attack. Not that I need it to auto cast, but more importantly it doesn't get interrupted. It's not the same low priority of auto attack where any other skills interrupts it. I would like to see that fixed, it's no fun getting stuck in a 1.5 second animation. Or 3s because you had another one queued that wouldn't stop itself.

Try timing kinetic battery with elixir U. I have kit 1 at a 3500 heal on a fully buffed player. I agree i would rather see it increased and no boon bonus, but thats 3500 in .65 seconds with quickness. I have also seen bandage blast hit a single person at point blank range for 14,500. The skills are indeed clunky. But If you can wield them they are not shabby.
