What Does Rangers Run in Fractal now?

Has been about 3 months i don't run fractal (been in a break of gw2). And has over 6 months i don't run it on my ranger. What does rangers run in fractal pugs these days? The old heal druid or something else? I don't know if i can trust meta raid builds for fractal pugs, you know, its very different, no coordination and stuff.

In high fractals it still outperforms power builds.Especially in challenge modes.

As you get into T4 fractals, this changes because the enemy have vastly more health, so the ramp-up time to higher ongoing damage for condition builds wins out over the front-loaded burst, then lower ongoing damage, of power builds. This is true more or less across the board, because it is a property of the enemies you fight, not the builds themselves.

sorry i didn't think to ask what fractal levels you where working on. yes, it works well in T4, it's less useful on lower tiers but still likely outperforms a power build.

Oh yea, my bad. I was talking about T4s. I started to run fractal again after months off today, went in as soulbeast and got asked to go heal druid after a couple wipes . I guess it got answered by itself. lol

In CM fractals people typically choose power classes though, due to the fact that the bosses transition quite fast (and condi classes can't ramp up that fast).

For CMs the absolute best comps use pure power damage. I see it being better on non meta comps though

For my part I've been having fun with an axe/horn and Greatsword build. It strikes a good balance between burst damage, aoe and healing for allies with shouts. Its not your typical soulbeast build but I enjoy my time with it.

I always get a spot when I run my harrier healing/support druid. Casuals like the extra lee-way it provides so it's not so intense a run on any level.
