Living World season 2

I feel like I missed something. I finished the Personal Story by killing Zhaitan and then watched the Living World season 1 video. Shortly thereafter I started LWs2, but I never saw the Zephyrites ship(s) crash. Did I miss something? no spoilers please

If I remember correctly we didn't see the Zephyrite ship crash.

There may have been a cut scene showing them leaving the Festival of the Four Winds...or I might be thinking of the Bazaar of the Four Winds which was 1/2 way through Season 1. But because they were out over Dry Top, which at the time was unexplored territory for our characters we didn't see what happened.

We never saw it in-game, it was just in a trailer advertising LW2 episode 1.

We did get some build up in a festival event (that you cannot experience anymore) where we went back to the Festival of the Four Winds with the Zephyrs. Clues as to why their ship crashed are started there but never the actual ship crash itself.

This was also early days in experimenting with the Living World format. Aside from a promotional video about the airship, we didn't see the crash, although most expected an in-game cutscene. Also, before Episode 2 was released, the town of Prosperity wasn't all viney. The quaggan outside the bar, Droobert, was begging for money and Riot Alice from the Street Rat storyline made a cameo. More content that was lost if you weren't there.

Oh, right. There was a trio of Durmand Prory members exploring Dry Top, one of which was a hylek. They kept moving to the new part of the map as episodes were released, and left little notes in their wake. The last notice, made when Episode 5 came out, was that they were headed into the jungle, but sadly, like Malyck, they were never found when HoT was released.
