Feedback: Official Living World Season 4 Episode 3 Feedback [MANY SPOILERS]

Honest question, who thought it would be a good idea to lock the new mount behind a collection AND not let us chose that mastery line so as to effectively negate any experience gained throughout the main story quests. No experience gained while also not dropping loot... I mean really what was the point of that? Good story nonetheless I am enjoying it so far.

That's such a minor issue. Do you really care about 3 spirit shards you're gonna get?

NPC walk/run speed has always been a thorn in my side in nearly every game I've played. Sometimes they would be walking, but would somehow have a different walk speed than your character, yet sometimes faster; the same when they run in excruciating slow motion during an escort. However, in this one little moment, the two different walk speeds of Gorrik and Taimi created such an amazing scene:

There Gorrik goes, freshly rescued from prison with thanks to Taimi, walking off into the distance while Taimi struggles down the stairs. Just one little scene that speaks volumes of Gorrik's character.

This is a feedback thread right? Not all feedback is positive 'kitten'. Also it may be a minor issue to you, but I'll bet you others take issue with it as well

This is a feedback thread right? Not all feedback is positive 'kitten'. Also it may be a minor issue to you, but I'll bet you others take issue with it as well

There certainly are others! You get a lot of xp in a story and are a fool if that is not going to the mastery you are currently pursuing.

Can't really tell right now, too much firework for the first boss Itari the mummy, get killed two times.... And a ton of errors of connection, diconnect, crashes..... Will repost surely a more positive one here later after I finished the episode after the fix :) But really disapointed....

The lack of unique sounds on Verdarach is extremely disappointing. As an auditory weapon, especially one of such large physical size, I would have expected it to have matching audio. Even non legendary warhorns (Super adventure box skins) has unique sounds. Why was the decision made to not create sounds?

I would just like to say this is a completely unacceptable state of the game for a new launch regardless of any excuses. This is beyond unprofessional into the realms of just plain incapable. I am looking forward to the gem compensation that should be coming to at least any who have purchased Path of Fire and have patiently waited for this "quality" episode of living story and the subsequent termination of Amazon services in favor of servers with 20% more steroids in their hamsters.

What exactly is not plausible? And why would it have to be original? The characters in the story are pretty original no? Not like settings can only ever be done once

My initial impressions aren't great.

First the Primeval Queens weren't interactable so I logged out and back in again and it skipped that step (and the dialogue) moving me onto the next phase, regroup outside and take the portal.

Attempting to do that caused a connection error and I was unable to log back in on any character for quite a while.

Not good, given that the entire episode was delayed to make "adjustments to how we approach developing each episode that will help us hit our quality standards more consistently".

you have already made one? YOU ARE TRULY A MASTERCRAFTER :) sad to hear about the sound though.

I unfortunatly can't give feedback so far since I've crashed trying to load into Forearmed something whatever.Before that I had to relog in order to start some dialogues, which unfortunatly didn't start but I got progress for my main objective anyway so I probably missed most of the story dialogues thanks to that.

I'll just wait until some bugfixes have rolled out because I really did not enjoy playing GW2 today.

Even though I couldn't make it past the first part, my initial impressions for the story was very positive! I very much love asura so some of the dialogue was really funny to me (plus Taimi in anything is always a plus!). The boss fight was fun, I appreciate it not being overly complicated or difficult (took me a second to realize I could jump over the shooting black tar). And also the cinematic cutscene I was SO excited to see. I really would love more of them if possible!
