What threats and treasures lie in the Domain of Kourna?Event DetailsThe Expedition to Kourna is an exploratory one-time event, a shared adventure to the Domain of Kourna. We will start at the first waypoint in the region, then proceed through the area, completing events & hunting bounties on the way, reaching some distant places and getting an achievement or two!We'll be running a trail around the map, exploring as we go - completing events, visiting locations of note, helping players get to difficult to reach places, pointing out interesting tidbits and possibly even getting some achievements! The event is suitable for both players who have already explored the map on their own, as well as those who have never set foot in it before and would like to get to know it with a fun group experience!Note that this is not intended to be a 100% exploration run or a farm grind, but rather a relaxed foray into the map. The commanders have noted down some key points we want to visit, but the expedition will not follow a strict path or schedule.As part of the run, we will visit the waypoints in the area, touch on quite a few key locations, complete events, and point out some interesting locations and achievements. We will be bringing fully mounted mesmers to help players get to difficult locations, and if any attendees wish to bring a mesmer themselves, that's welcome too!The event takes place on Saturday, the 7th (of July) at 18:00 CET [16:00 UTC/GMT], and will last 2-3 hours (players can enter/leave freely throughout the event).Note: The event itself and our Teamspeak in general are considered spoiler-free in regards to story, so you can join the event even if you have not finished the story yet without fear of it being spoiled for you.How to JoinTo join, simply connect to the OpenCommunity teamspeak atts.gw2oc.orgTeamspeak is a free program, our TS has no password, and you do not require a microphone to join! We will be in the Expedition to Kourna channel, and and you can join at any point before or during the event!Requirements:Path of FireBasic Mounts (Raptor, Springer and Skimmer) - Beetles are not required!Domain of Kourna map reached (first waypoint unlocked)Getting There:Complete the Story mission Forearmed is Forewarned from Living World Season 4, episode 3: Long Live the Lich.Using Domain of Kourna Portal Scroll.Using Teleport to Friend on a party member in the zone, if the Living World episode has been unlocked.For more events, you can check out the calendar page on our websiteHope to see you there!
