They had. They had about 1.5-2K gold worth.

You can still sell them, probably for less if potential customers exploited them. Still, instance selling is not officially supported, so your loss is not economical problem for anet to solve.

In my opinion it can be solved by revoking those titles from people who exploited the bug, but I don't wanna get into a pointless discussion.

But this bug doesn't cause any harm to the game, therefore it's very unlikely they gonna do anything about it. It's their fault afterall.

Back in the day, they banned / suspended users for exploiting these kinda bugs. But alot has changed in 5 years I guess. (Although some of those may have been more economical of impact, but still)

You're speaking as if many of the initial people that got Dhuum CM didn't get it by using a different kind of bug.

Dont worry guys, I'm not asking for people to get banned or suspended over cheating or exploiting a bug. Just wanted to point out the difference between then and now. And that while a bug may be Anets fault, it does not give you any protection if they decide to act on it.

I really dont care much whether you actually did myself. Anet can very easily make that decision.

That's not true. They've even put up post saying the exact opposite. That not only were the gains removed but they have dishonor for extremely lengthy period of times (i think its like 60 days could be more).

Only if you were selling bugged instances. To this day you can exploit Arah or AC and until you try to profit on these exploits, you'r efine.

PvE titles will always be useless in GW2. All titles are entirely sellable and thus hold no value or skill. No bosses that can't be 9 manned will ever be released because the low skill of the general population. A boss that the vast majority of the population wouldn't stand a chance... And that's something many players can't live with.

Envoy's herald is a grind title; not a skill title. The hardest part about envoy's herald is provisioner tokens.

I mean surely you realise LI is also a joke. W1 was hard on release; now it's trivial yet one of the harder wings. Escort, trio, w4 first bosses are all genuine afk freefarm. River can be leeched for 4g for more free li too.

Envoy's herald is as difficult as Yakslapper. It shows commitment to raiding; and I'll assume you're somewhat comfortable with raid bosses... but skill? hahahha. And if you have enough money; then yes envoy's herald is buyable. Truthfully; even without buying it how difficult is it for players to get carried through a full clear?

In theory if you have enough money every title is buyable. I mean, just buy ANet and make them award you the title in question, easy.My point was, titles like this are extremely impractical to buy. And they show what every other title shows - commitment to the game. Nothing more, nothing less.

Bought 750 boss kills? Yeah, I don't believe that.Seeing how much gold some of the TP barons have? Yeah, entirely possible. Although i agree that only for maybe a few players in the whole game. There was someone once claiming on reddit that he didn't bother buying raid kills for his armor, he went and bought the whole raid guild. Which might have been a joke, but with the amount of gold some players have (...or RL cash others might be willing to spend), it's not as impossible as it may seem.

They make an example out of some people, usually after reddit outrages. If I would have to place bets I would say about 80-90% of the pvp leaderboard cheaters stay unharmed
