What we should look into

After the end of the Condi Era, where all condition builds got nerfed almost to the ground except for 1 or 2, we reached the next level of downstate fiesta. How long are we going to play matches where 8 of 10 people are running one-shot builds? ANet achieved what they wanted with condi, now, it's time to adjust the power damage too because every single profession(maybe not elementarist LUL) can build a one-shot build and start killing people in less than a second. I'm not asking to bring the bunker meta back, but you need to slow down the game. The game still not fun and a proof of this is that most players that try it don't like it. Friends of mine, that don't play gw2(I tried to invite them) said that the combat, the skill effects and animations are amazing but they just cant enjoy a game where they don't know how they died because everything comes from too far or from stealth and insta kill them. Can we please start to look into this? The game is dieing not because of conquest, not because of duo queue, not because of 5man queue. The game is dieing because is boring and every single match is the same.

Every single profession that runs a one-shot build, lacks of defence abilities.

Dying*

But I'll disagree and say that the pvp population is low due to the horrific balance patches and how infrequent they do them along with them doing them at odd times throughout the season.

Big balance patches (if required) during off-season. Tweaks throughout the season if something is performing a bit higher than expected.

First of all, a solo build should not be able to reach 25 power stacks.Currently, there are some skills/traits that give too much stacks of power easily. In a 4v4 mid fight early on the game, the team which is able to build 25 power stack for each membership win the fight most of time.

After a nerf about it, we should be able to balance better the base damages of each spell.

Is the cond era over? I've fought a Burn Guardian applying 10 stacks of burning in a second... I clean all of them if Warrior shout, he applies everything again, I CLEAN A SECOND TIME - guess what? he applies yet again 8+ burning stacks... :astonished:
