Longer Hairstyles/ Better Facial Hair please

Makeover Kits are crying out for better hairstyles and Facial Hair. We lack long hair & People have argued because of clipping, although just about everything clips into something that you wear on guild wars. You can literally make yourself look like a roman candle on the 4th of July or like you just came from a glitter disco yet people have issues with clipping?We need longer hairstyles. And pretty ones at that. Anet, recycle GW1 hairstyles to GW2. Not all were long hairstyles but there were some amazing designs in Gw1. Each Class had their own set look.

Beard color & Hair Color should be separate.

Here are just some examples I've had in mind

Male Characters are in desperate need of some updated and good-looking facial hair options. No silly oversized fake looking mustaches.Mustache & Beard example,Example 2,Example 3Example 4Example 5

All female toons, all races are in need of longer hairstyles. Even if it's a halo braid. No anime hairstyles. No stiff hairstyles.Braid/ long hair examples,Long Hair Example 2,
Long Hair Example 3,Long Hair with Ribbon,Long Braids with Beads,
Shaved Ponytail

The Bob-style hair we do have are kind of blah so here are some Bob-Hairstyles with bangs: Example 1,Example 2

Some other variety of hairstyles that female ASura could use -> Example 1,Example 2,
Example 3

Sylvari can have something like this, but instead of hair it would be roots/ leaves/ moss ->Example, Example 2

Charr Hairstyles- No more anime DBZ hair please. Give us a mix of Elegant and warrior/ tribal. I live around ranches and often see Horses with their manes all done up and nice looking so the best examples I can give for Charr are Horse manes due to the neck being similar and fur/mane mostly is as well. Please keep an open mind!Charr Braid

It would be nice to also be able to have different colour hair and beards. I wasn't too keen on having a pink beard a while back so I had to go without it.

Yes! like Beards could be counted maybe as accessory? Or a 2nd Dye channel apart from Hair and accessory so beards can be different in color if so choosing. Some redheaded men have brown beards etc. I like that idea.

Yes to all. I think we have enough mount skins to satisfy ppl for a long time, as far as cosmetics go- we need more make-over options that aren't just slightly different hair tints than the last update. "Dark blue- now introducing Darker blue!" Like c'mon.All of these are great examples of what would be nice in game.Pls anet.

I agree, I couldn't really find any good examples for male sylvari :< Unless you were to go more tolkien elven? Just make the braids look like intertwining roots.

Any long hair option for female asura (that isn't pigtails - but that might just be me) and I'm happy. Seriously we need more braids, braids are always amazing. I will forever upvote these topics on new and cute hairstyles!

I would love being able to edit my beard colour independently from my hair colour, This would add tons to immersion as well!

If i want to create myself for instance i'd then be able to make the beard dark reddish brown while keeping my hair dirty blonde
(A common natural colour combo actually in many places in europe ) .I also know of many that dye their hair and not their beard and vice versa.

Include this feature please Arenanet!

You know, the charr options have been expanded thanks to the appearance of the Olmakhan, but I must agree with you, OP, in that we may need a return to simplicity in charr manes and hairstyles. Some of the stuff we got was so overdesigned and overloaded, that I wonder how anybody could wear something like that into battle. (And I agree with you on the anime influence, it causes aesthetic dissonance. Visual incoherence is not good, we need more simple hairstyles to balance against the crazyness.)

I'm a dude who has hair long enough that I have to pull it out of my trousers when I get dressed every day lolAs a huge fan of super long hair it sucks that there are so few male hairstyles in gw2 that I can relate with.I'd love to be running around Tyria with my human ranger who has hair like Sephiroth.. or me XD

I know it can be a pain with clipping but the mechanics are there already.. there are female hairstyles that are super long.. I'd be happy simply having a few options for male characters too.

I completely agreeThere is clipping in almost every game, well actually every game just sometimes you don't see itMale toons do need incredibly long hair and there are outfits/ armors that we just swap to if the clipping is THAT bad but honestly, I'd be so excited to have a male toon with excessively long hair that the clipping would not bother me

I tried making a thread on it on reddit here but i guess, perhaps because i messed up with the original image link a bit by linking a gallery instead or something, it didn't get that much feedback and arenanet likely didn't spot it. Some people seemed to really disagree even based on the idea that it'd increase the ammount of "eye-sores" in game ... guess i'm an irl eye-sore then...
