Master Sky Crystals

During this years festival I've managed to collect all the Kookoochoo Fliers and all 52 Sky Crystals without using a mount or glider. For the Master ones I've got eight out of the ten, again without mount or gliders, but I'm stuck trying to get #5 and #9 (from Dulfys Guide). Does anyone know if they are possible, or will I have to break my run?

All the (Master) Sky Crystals are doable without Mounts or Gliding - they are mostly unchanged from the 2013(?) version of the festival.

The guide from Dulfy is also from back then and includes a video that uses only the aspect skills.

They have altered one of the Master Crystals, number 5 on the current Dulfy list has had the platforms lifted, the jump aspect doesn't go high enough from the first to second hexagonal platform. :anguished: Number 9 isn't on the old walkthrough and I've no idea how to get up the cliff face. So, unless either Anet says it is possible or someone has a video of how to do them I'm done. So close too.

That's an impressive accomplishment, @Zeno Iagara.8540. It's a shame you didn't make your own video, at least for the harder-to-reach ones. That would be one I'd look at (and I'm not big on watching other people play the game).

PS the festival is only half over, so you have at least 9-10 days to find out (or keep trying).

5 is doable with just the crystals but super annoying if you make any mistake because you will probably die

9 is either super tricky or impossible, I keep missing the platform by a tiny bit. It would be doable if one of the bamboos that stick up on a nearby platform was just slightly higher or of there was another lower platform so you could use Assisted Leap

It used to be possible to use the 2 and 3 skills together so maybe it was intended that you do it that way but that doesn't seem possible anymore

Well those two (5 and 9) have me beat. The only path to 9 I can see is via the same route as 5, and as I cant get onto the second hexagonal platform at the start of 5 pffft.Thanks folks for your kudos and help, they are both appreciated.

Maybe wait until the final weekend (next Saturday), give it another try. I find with stuff like this, taking a break makes a difference. That's helped me out in many JPs and some of the Gauntlet bosses. Maybe it's forgetting just enough so you can see things from a new angle.

For #5 do you mean this platform?If so you can actually skip it. Turn around and aim for this section with lightning pull then assisted leap up on the edge.Same thing from previous picture. The red area is where you'll probably land on then you assisted leap up on the edge. I use lightning pull from the green arrow to the next area but that might not matter.Then you can lightning pull over to this platform that is above the hexagonal platform.
