Illconceived Was Na.9781
Can any of the frequent-flyer Auric Basin meta fans give an estimate of how many Auric Ingots drop per run? Assuming all chests are opened. I'm trying to figure out how often I need to farm for various collections (and whether I need to convert all my auric dust or whether I can rely on direct drops of the ingots). Thanks much. Khisanth.2948
Based on the wiki information it should somewhere around 4.

I checked the ingot article, as well as the various chests and Battle for Tarir.(Sometimes the wiki has so much info that I can't find the one the little piece I want.) archmagus.7249
Spending any length of time in auric basin will give you enough mats to make them. All you need is the recipe.

I don't much like doing metas, because they get old for me quickly. I've been doing more AB meta in the last four weeks than I did when AB multi-loot was active. And so far, it doesn't seem like enough. So I'd like to set my expectations better

Open up all of the auric chests you can. They spawn around pylons as they're activated.

The 4 was with an assumption of equal weight although it has just occurred to me that would not make sense since the slot has both auric dust and silver as well. So the actual value should be less than 4.
HazyDaisy.4107
I found the last time I did the chest run (which was a year ago) if you pophttps://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Potion_of_Auric_AttunementBefore opening chests you get more ingots, not a substantial increase, but at least a couple more than normal.Of course it may have changed since my last run, but it's something to try. You will likely get more if you open all Exalted chests in the zone as has been suggested. The recommendation above about running it daily is a good one, as in addition to the ingots you will get the chest from which you can choose an Amalgamated Gemstone, which is used in gen 2 Legendary crafting. If you have no intention of crafting HoT legendaries, you can sell those on the TP for about 1g 60s each, not a bad daily addition to your income. ugrakarma.9416
if you do a lot of AB, this is really what will fill your inventory: the Auric Silver, used to craft the Ingots;. Auric Silver is also so cheap that i never bothered with ingots.https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Auric_Sliver
Illconceived Was Na.9781
@Turkeyspit.3965 thanks for the specific numbers. That's exactly what I was looking for.I already have plenty of auric slivers, but I have other uses for the auric dust. It sounds as if I'll either need to forgo fulgurite for a while, or do more than 3-4 AB/month.
