Wanting to go to a new server

I know the servers are about to have a lot of server group mix ups on the 31st. But me and a friend are thinking of swapping off the server we are on to a better server that doesn’t really have to worry about what server it’s being paired with next in order to do decent in wvw. Any tips will help

did you do your research?

ex. what timezone you play in? what servers has active timezone at that time? what guilds raid at that time? is there a public com?

check wvw stats to see activities of dif servers. but this may change on linking

No such thing. Exhibit A is JQ which was very strong for 5+ years... HOD and KAIN are very strong, but their linked servers were stacked recently inflating their presence.

i suggest look for a stable guild who raida at your time so despite what happens, when your are blobbing or blobbed, you will have company.

thats what we manage at slayers xd but we run 2pm to 6pm server time for wvw at nsp.

(normal raid members of 7) it is suprisingly enjoyable seeing this 7 grow. =)

The next big question that seems to have yet been asked, is what do you like in WvW? Small scale/havoc? Zergs/blobs? Prefer fights or caps?

I run a WvW guild on SF that focuses on small scale and even tho we do both PPT and PPK, we lean a bit more on the PPK side.

This is what everyone wants. Which is exactly why it cannot exist. Everyone wants it, not enough people can / are willing to create and maintain it and even if they do, they'll get outnumbered 10:1 with players who just wanna go to some server that fits their needs regardless.

Which means paradise quickly turns into mediocre tourist attraction, until it's the complete opposite of the paradise it once was. Bandwagoning 101.

I suggest making your own paradise and molding it in toxicity and elitism. That increases the expiration date by scaring off the tourists ;)
