Cannot Purchase Gems

Didn't see any posts for this here other than in the Tech support forums, and a mod post said to put this in the Bug Forum in the future. I've not been able to purchase any gems from the gem store at all. It would come up with an error (with no number) and ask me to try again later, and it would happen no matter if I tried to use Debit/Credit or Paypal. I've already sent a bug report in game, but wanted to make a post here.

We have a thread in the Technical and Account Support subforum, and as far as I'm concerned, that's a fine place for it. Could you please post in that merged thread?

When you say a mod told you to post it here, could you explain where, and how? I need to clear this up with the team, so thank you for letting me know how that came about.

Sometimes some weird stuff could happen when you try to buy stuff. Also sometimes people forget to click the actual type of card they are using. If even 1 thing isn't filled out or clicked on it won't work. Another thing is some firewalls can mess with it or ad/cookie blocking things. When Pay pal or my bank card would act up I'd try the other payment method. Then if that didn't work I'd try a different device or at a different location than my home. Hope this helps. ( if all that doesn't work maybe make a ticket with anet or come up with other payment methods.)

OH one last idea. Some people trust their friends or family members who game. (or like a guildie you've known for years) Some people if they can't make their card work then they'll paypal money to a friend for them to buy something with gems with the money and then gift it to them in game. BUT that can be risky.
