I'm away all we now until Friday so it'll be a few days until I place but I'm 8 games in 5-3 so far.

With the prefix: the aim is to win, the point is to have fun.

I'm just not enjoying playing with holo. Yes it's probably the strongest spec we have but...

Rocketmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan:

Switched amulet to give me 490 healing per sec with uber speed an boost barriers.

Not missing the criy chance from wizards ammy.... Yet.

I switched up one trait, was running incendiary powder, switched to modified ammunition. The bleeding from crits plus vulnerability gives me a 4% damage most of the time and if a condi class is with me that number sky rockets. Fighting holosmith’s has been interesting. I can usually handle them solo, but very difficult to deal with in a plus one scenario. Hammer revenants and guardians are my other more challenging fights. Last night was 2 wins 3 losses.

Below is the build I am running. Elixir C has been the mvp, I end up getting resistance and a ton of boons. Elixir u and defense field are great for securing stomps. Damage on hammer feels very good with this build, good uptime on quickness and stab.

I got so wrecked by a scrapper flame thrower build yesterday. It was awesome, so I have been playing around with quickness might stacking flame build and it is very fun. I am running fire arms, scrapper, alchemy. I think tools may be a better choice so I can use kit trait for swiftness/fire shield and gadgeteer for rocket boots. What do you guys think? Keep in mind, I am low silver so meme build is fine. We tend to stand and fight when we should be running off point to cap elsewhere and are easy to farm.

If you want fun, there is nothing like Flamethrower. Streamlined kits? Essential. Traited rocket boots? Just awesome. But, this is only if you want fun (Personally, I don't PvP often just because pure fun is hard to justify for the team.)

A point to take on account: there have been serious doubts about the interaction between FT and quickness. If I remember correctly, some clever forum member did prove the quickness was lost on FT skills somehow, and not very impactful on rifle either. In fact, when I tried my quick juggernaut scrapper a couple years ago, I couldn't notice any real difference from my previous core build with Tools, and switched back.

These days I run Rifle, Holo, FT, Streamlined Kits, Rocket Boots, Juggernaut, Zerker weapon, Viper armor, and Strenght runes.Might stacking, High mobility, and lots of hard CC: super good, ultra fun build for open world, but I don't think it would work on PvP or even WvW.

I'm just too lazy to change the runes I attached, and most of the build does power damage anyway. I'll try the aristocrat ones if they are in the TP, might be fun.

Edit: Oh, they are account bound, so you are forced to do the Caudecus Manor dungeon to get the seals. I should have found it to be boring, since I stopped doing it so many time ago... Maybe I could try again.
