New Raid is Fissure of Woe?

I'm not too much into lore anymore, but I remember that Balthasar and Fissure of Woe was somehow connected, no?Now that he's dead, maybe we can enter the Fissure of Woe again?

We got Underworld too... so... maybe?

I haven't started playing Raids yet, but if there is something I would love to play, then it is Underworld and Fissure of Woe.

It'll probably be a Raid, since its original incarnation was basically GW1's version of a Dungeon. But with the Fate of Menzies, its presumed the war in the FoW is over. So what would be the threat to take his place?

They will make something up, it's not difficult. You can come up with ANYTHING and somehow connect it to fissure of woe if you are a dev responsible for the story. You can question the direction of the story, but you cannot question what is likely or unlikely to happen in a fantasy world. And you certainly cannot question the creative decisions (as long as they don't harm the story's consistency) of a creator, those are up to him/her. If you like them or not, that is something else and doesn't affect the creator's credibility.

Something, something, dragon and stuff?

The Elder Dragon / Dragon plot can never take place in raids. This is their main story and they have made it very clear (under heavy fire from non-raiders) that raids are always gonna be a side story thing or closing loose ends. At most it will connect LS4 and LS5 seamlessly without requiring you to ever step into it, but even this would cause some ruckus like Forsaken Thicket did.

You mean with story and such right.. otherwise you can actually enter cleared raid map to explore the map...??I do support the idea for making raid map explorable with simple battle mode walkthrough.. for players who hasn't or doesn't wish to participate in raids. But I'm not sure what that can achieve and u know players will always be not happy enough with what they get.
