mrauls.6519
Sick and tired of using Litany of Wrath. It can be one of the worst heals in our kit if you can't deal enough damage in time. Thinking of using trap heal - it's basically a full heal with full berserker gear. Thoughts?
Seteruss.4058
just press it right after a trap throw and you re done. Is one of the best heals not worst.
InsaneQR.7412
Shelter, but thats for my PvE permablock build. Still to slow for PvP and permablock is outdated in the current meta.
Alchimist.4738
Shelter kind of works like Litany of Wrath, but instead of out-healing the damage through dps you just block the damage without doing dps, so it's safer because you can react faster but it's definitely a dps loss, otherwise there is a case to be made for Signet of Resolve on Slothasor or W5 in general. cat.8975
None of the other heals even come close to the value of Litany (in PvE). The cast time, low cooldown, and 6s of "invulnerability" that follow it are just unbeatable. The other heals are incredibly sluggish and heal for lackluster amounts. nativity.3057
I use trap heal in PUG Mai Trin since you can't heal when you can't do damage. But other than that, LoW is 10x better than the other options.

It's a problem in Nightmare as well, vs. agony bullets (which of course, you're supposed to dodge). I will usually swap to the healing signet as we enter the altar room. mrauls.6519
Maybe the new light field healing will make healing easier. Anyone test?
SoftFootpaws.9134
The trap heal is really not that bad. Its as effective as LoW under "average" circumstances, though not in optimal ones. The problem with LoW is that its a multi-bladed sword, if you screw it up not only do you lose efficiency, you also risk going down.Part of skill is knowing when to play against risk and when not to. RabbitUp.8294
I mean, the only reason to take LoW is specifically because you can use it well and heal for enormous amounts. It doesn't have any other synergy or dps bonuses. So, if you find yourself in a situation when you can't use it well, then switch to a standard heal. The trap is a good choice, and in open world I usually go with Shelter. Signet is also a reliable, no-strings-attached option.
