Mad king’s clock tower, what am I missing :(

Hello! So I’m quite new to this game and don’t fully understand the basics yet. And I am having some trouble with The Mad Kings Clock Tower. Aside from me being bad at it..But the issue is that, when I get to the part where I am supposed to jump down on a platform, THE PLATFORM ISN’T THERE :( Or it’s there but it’s still under water. First time I was super confused and tried waiting to see if it would emerge, but it didn’t and time went out. Then I tried jumping down to the platform (which was still under water), and that resulted in death too. I’ve been watching so many youtube videos and there is no question that it is the place I am supposed to jump down from. Am I missing something else? Do I have to do something for that platform to emerge?I am suuuper grateful for help in this :(

The best recommendation is to watch some YouTube video guides.

Depending on which platform you are referring to, it is possible to lose to much time thus losing the possibility to progress (because the lower platform is already covered by toxic water even though your higher position is not yet compromised) . Especially in the middle-top section there is a spot which will punish you this way.

Thanks for your answer :) unfortunately no youtube videos have been helpful simply because when they get to the same place I have trouble with, it looks different. They have the platform clearly visible and above water, but mine is still barely visible and under water. I’ve watch the entire vids to see if they mention anything else that could be helpful, but there wasn’t anything :/

The water rising is a time limit. If that platform is under water it means you need to try to get there a bit faster. Basically, you need to get to the part where you jump before the water covers that platform. It's a challenging puzzle but rewarding when you finally get it. Good luck!

not sure if it is possible to get to that point so early that so plattform is not readyyou should try to stick to the frontline players if you fall behind too far its not possible to do it

If it's the jump onto the huge cog down below, it will be a timing issue.

If the platform is already covered in water you were to slow on the section before that. If I recall correctly this is the last tricky jump before the final stretch and getting the final jump done.

That's because you arrived a bit late indeed. I also arrive when the rocks are already "built", so I don't see the animation of them being formed, but if they are under water it's too late. However, I found that you can actually jump directly on the rock on the right of the platform, to save 1 jump. It's a bit more difficult than jumping on the big cog, but if you manage it, you'll shave some precious time (you might be able to escape the grasping hands even if the platform is a bit under water).EDIT: Oh, I saw that you made it. Gratz!

@Turkeyspit.3965 I think you can buy the recipe to craft it, in case you are not able to complete the JP.

Yeah, I'm holding onto a cob just in case. Kinda also want the achievement. I guess we'll see how much hair I pull out over the weekend lol.

Ahaah. Nooo, no one likes a peeled turkey! Save some hair :)(btw, yesterday -late- night I've been able to complete 3 whole rounds of the JP alone. No one was there at that hour. No waiting time at all that I had to wait on purpose to give my thumb some rest. If you can, try at night.)

do you mean this part?

if the platform is already covered in poison then you need to go fasters

for this part, it's better just run off the plank and fall down rather than jump down, if you jumped then you will fall flat on the platform and immobilised for bout 2 secondswhereas if you just run off the plank you will land standing
