ProverbsofHell.2307
Just wondering if this is solely an issue for me, but High shaders look really horrible and give everything this glossy edge. Anyone else get this, or is it my bad laptop?
Arkengel RaF.9672
I'm pretty sure that is how it has always worked. As to looking better, well that is up to the individual. I kinda don't like it.
Ray Koopa.2354
The lighting which high shaders add to your character also doesn't make any sense to me. It's always shining on it from the right side of your camera's view, not depending on any real world lighting. Funny enough, if your character becomes slightly transparent due to being too close to your camera, that effect is removed no matter what.I still prefer the high shaders overall due to normal light mapping which I think medium shaders don't have, giving everything a more realistic, bumpier surface.
