Looking for that classic Rogue feel.

Okay so to start off, I'm a mega noob. I have been playing MMORPGs for well over a decade, I've played gw2 since launch but never quite mastered combat as well as I did for rogues in WoW.

That being said, I'm a fairly casual player these days. I enjoy group PVE like fractals and eventually would like to dabble in PVP but right now it's PVE only for me until I feel more comfortable with my profession.

That being said, I'm looking for a viable build that is also more of a rogue flavor. Stealthing, backstabs, good mobility/dodging things like that. Dual daggers, dagger pistol, bow, etc. I understand staff seems to be the meta right now but I don't love the aesthetic. To put it simply, I'm a "fashionsouls" guy. Feeling my character is important to me. Are there any builds that are decent that achieve this? I like feeling like a little jerk who stealth around, crits enemies, and dodges out before getting wrecked. Thank you for any help!!

Closest I can think of is DD+SB Daredevil, use dash and infiltrator singlet to be more mobile. But do not expect to compete with anyone of your own or let alone higher skill in 1v1 or any other equal number combination. The class role is to collect trash in WvW by lurking around and cleaning up paper builds and wounded enemies. Not much beyond that.

Depends entirely on how you want to play specifically.

It's ultimately going to be a "feel" thing.

Camping stealth? CS/SA/DE on D/PFun but weak built around backstabbing and dodging repetedly? CS/Acro/Tr Core on D/DA bit of a hybrid? DA/Tr/DrD on D/P

The more you try to make it play and feel like the traditional fast-pace rogue, the less effective it'll be. The best builds currently are pretty boring and don't feel rogue-like. S/D is fun, but not a rogue style of play.
