Bugged weapon model or just poor design?

Looking at the Inquest MkII shortbow today, i noticed that it's the only weapon of its set that has no change between its holstered form and drawn. What'smore, it looks oddly compact - like it perhaps is supposed to extend when drawn, perhaps.

Is this an actual error or just an instance of lazy design/lacking inspiration?

The tiny shortbow thing is not all that unusual. As are overly thick bow limbs.
