ArthurDent.9538
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Steadfast_RejuvenationAbout the same amount of hp/s except it is a "Major Grandmaster" trait instead of adept.
Za Shaloc.3908
Yeah, this trait is a waste of space. I'd consider it more if it didn't have the 1s ICD.

Nightmare.1234
all the traits in the adept tier of mallyx are pretty bad, but mainly because they have no synergy outside of mallyx. the whole trait line as suffered since the original design of the class was to keep conditions on yourself but then they remembered other classes can clean your condis without you wanting them too. if mallyx had been an elite spec it would of got something like kallas fevour as a unique buff where it gets a stack on incoming conditions allowing a power ramp up as more conditions come in. would of been great with pain absorption pulling condis off ppl. Making it a strong choice for 11/19 encounters. This is currently more than any other dps build except Deadeye, Daredevil, and Holosmith--and has the most viability of any of the condi-dps builds by a solid margin (Mirage having the second most: meta on 4 bosses and good on 3.)Now obviously, snow crows isn't the be-all-end-all of what classes work in a given situation, and anything can work anywhere... BUT, their rankings do make for a quick and easy reference for the effectiveness of a given spec through an elitist, topdps lens, and are more citable than me just going, "Nah bro, it's good in raidz!"Some "elite" specs aren't usable at all in raids if you use this as a standard, and many are good tier in only 1-3 fights (and meta on none), which makes Renegade a worthwhile investment by comparison. I think what you should mean by "[renegade's in] a really bad place for an elite spec" is that it's terrible in sPvP, which is probably the only game mode that you care about. Is very bad in WvW, and in open PvE I would run any Herald variant (mele or rannged) over any Renegade build. So outside of PvE raids and maybe fractals (maybe due burst damage works better in fractals instead of damage over time), I see no use for the spec. The short bow is also the only Revenant weapon with no mobility skills and the only short bow in the game with no defensive tools. To me is the least used spec in the game. Buran.3796
^ But both provide defense, which short bow lacks, and albeit the hammer doesn't truly change your placement the Phase Smash go & back teleport is consistent with the other weapons moving you through the mist (swords, axe, staff... ). Also, short bow's only link with the lore of the mist is the portals which opens to shoot the arrows (which are unnecesary due arrows already move themselves) and which ended being detrimental (because how badly the interact with the landscape and against mobile targets). At the end the spec is severely handicaped for PvP/wVw by the fact that was designed to be used against the raid dps golem; everything in the Renegade is static and anchored in the ground.
