xp and masteries

What's the best way to get xp for the PoF masteries?

Just spent 3 hours bouncing between istan and kourna to fill up just 2 and half bar. The issue is having more ppl to get the events done. I just want some options of solo stuff.

Join Istan farming zergs or check LFG for bounty runs

Make sure you're running a guild XP boost, celebration booster or something similar, a food, and a utility. Then do the hearts and everything else. Another option is complete the snack quests for the first 4 mounts and buy a bunch of snacks for each mount. You can consume 1 per day for a decent percentage of mastery experience. See the achievements: Reins of the Raptor, Springer Backpacking, Skimmer Search, and Jackal Reconnaissance. Those are good for a mastery point each, as well.

Do the PoF storyline, too. You get mastery points at several steps along the way as well.

look for an HP train on the friday or weekend ... just make sure you have the necessary mount and masteries

OP is looking for XP rather than MP, but the storyline will give you XP as well. But in general, @Khalisto.5780 should just do anything (i.e. as usual, a variety of stuff to avoid getting burned out on it) that earns XP. PoF mastery experience costs are significantly less onerous than HoT and CT masteries, and the mastery points are less onerous as well.
