[Noobie Question] Regarding Crafting Skill Transfer

I know this is a noob question but then... anyway...

How can I transfer a crafting skill (from a character that I wanted to delete) to another existing character or new character???

You can't. You have to redo all that progress. I had to do the same when I deleted my tailor Mesmer in favor of a new toon. Luckily, though, I had mats to get back up to it's current level and past it to 500, but still. Sucks, but it's the only way.

Why delete? Buy a new toom slot for a bit of gold, probably the same gold as it would take to re level to 500.

It is not possible to transfer crafting skill.

The only thing you can do (which is of no use to you if you want to delete the character) is replace crafting skills on characters for a price (10 copper per level of the skill you are activating). Inactive crafting skills do not level down, they remain at the level they were at.

As far as deleting a character, remember that birthday gifts are tied to character creation, not account age. Might want to keep that in mind.
