RiverSong.5067
I made a copy of the client, went through a lot of trouble and then copied the files on top of the initial download. The client seems to be working fine but i'd like to run the repair tool.I copied the shortcut, added -repair at the end, tried with and without admin rights. The repair tool just stops responding everytime. Is there anything i could look into?
Inculpatus cedo.9234
It will stop and restart several times during the process. How long did you let it sit?
Blocki.4931
Once started you shouldn't click around elsewhere. Just start it, then wait until it's finished. It usually just freezes and for me it never recovers from that.
Khisanth.2948
Open Task Manager, click on More Details, sort by Disk column or check the Performance tab and look at the disk usage of which disk you have GW2 installed on. That will tell you if it is still doing stuff. The repair tool doesn't have any sort of response. Trying to interact with it is just going to result in the (Not Responding) because it is fully prioritizing on the only thing it was designed to do.
