FYI the mats required to make it are ~7g, which is on par with Scholar's (about 6.4 to craft).

For what it's worth, all sigils and runes that are worth using have jumped in price. If you see runes and sigils selling for 5s or so, it's because they are still not good.

44g for a full set, not that bad if you actually plan to stick to the set. Gone are the days of throwing random rune sets on a whim ...

No but out of combat you can only go up to 36% due to movement speed cap.

I run core s/d thief and so I have perms swiftness. The speed boost in combat is very good and can easily melee chase people with out wasting too much inianitve since sword AA presure is pretty strong.
