Cassy.3702
ive had a few issues where my game is going a tad mental. anything else on my pc works fine, the game itself works fine like friends list, inventory, hero panel ect... but the actual game/background behind is being super weird. My second screen and all other programs works as it should, and it only happen in gw2. to make this go away i tend to restart the client, but its kind of a hassle if you have waited for a WvW que for an hour or so to get to playGraphics card: AMD Radeon R9 200 Seriesmy graphic card drivers are up to date as wellhttps://gfycat.com/UnkemptFastAsianwaterbuffalo <-- how the game looks like

Maze.3825
It's called artifacting I believe. Your gpu likely needs repair.
Inculpatus cedo.9234
You can try clean installing drivers, rolling back drivers, updating drivers (noted) to alleviate the issue. If you continue to have problems, you can contact the Tech CS Team via the 'Support' link above/below.Good luck. TinkTinkPOOF.9201
That sort of artifacting is typically from bad/corrupt VRAM, which is a hardware issue that will require a new GPU.You can test it more by downloading and using some of the GPU stressing programs/benchmarks and letting them run for a little while, willing to bet it will return errors as well. Not a game issue.
Kanok.3027
Yeah, you need an upgrade. Plenty of high-grade, low cost options. Look into a 1050 Ti or, better yet, an RX 570 4GB. It's a beast and while this game is dependent on CPU more than GPU, you will see a difference in certain cases and your other games will benefit as well from the upgrade. Lexie.1028
I get the same issue, different colours, seems to be certain armor on certain people in game, don't get it in World of Warcraft or any of my other games so not sure what is up with it, doubt it's your graphics card though. Ok I Did It.2854
Like others have mentioned, this looks alot like GPU artifacts, which is highly unlikely to be caused by drivers, its more a hardware failure, your potentially looking at a new graphics card.Just google image search gpu artifacts and you will see images similar to what you are experiencing. I had a card years ago that was getting to hot and causing artifacts when gaming, so you could check the heatsinks for dust and or the fans work correctly.
