Maybe Stupid Idea / Critical Damage Decrease.

We currently have an effect called Critical Damage Increase.

An example would be Spellbreaker Dagger.

This means there should also be the opposide in the code.

Critical Damage Decrease

Could we not put this effect on skills that are supposed to scale very good with power, but would then also get crazy strong with crit(dmg)?

Lets say....

Mighty Blow

  • Make it scale very good with power.
  • Give it a Critical Damage Decrease effect.

Wouldn´t this result in higher base dmg without its dmg getting overblown with crit/ferocity?

I know this might be a stupid idea but i thought this effect is something we could use in balancing.

Reducing the high end dmg of skills.

Maybe you have better ideas.
