Any reason not to link alternate GW1 and GW2 accounts?

I have multiple GW1 and GW2 accounts for general benefits. Is there any reason not to link them? Having unified email address and password sounds very attractive, especially since I no longer use an email address associated with one of my alt GW1 accounts (and don’t even have its serial code any more). Plus, linking lets me edit account and security info of GW1 accounts.

So, anybody know of any reason not to? I’m getting close to just linking them.

Only reason I can think of why someone may not want to do it is because they might want to link it to a different account later on. That's the only downside I can think of - once accounts are linked they can't be unlinked so if you change your mind there's nothing you can do about it. But if you don't think that's going to be an issue then there's nothing to worry about.

The reasons you have for linking are sound in my opinion.

The only reason not to link is, as @"Danikat.8537" says: if you someday maybe getting yet another GW2 account and want to link that, for the AP. I don't think "maybe" is a strong enough negative to worry about.
