Recently ran into a problem I'm honestly surprised is still in the game. Perhaps it was solved at one point, perhaps not. Checked this thread and didn't see it posted, but not before I saw it was posted in the archived forum. In 2014. 

Sylvari tier 1 cultural heavy armor (Arborist)  on females has a problem where it doesn't match your sylvari's skin on the pants. This seems to happen to all heavy professions.

Far as I can tell it's just a problem of it not taking the sylvari skin patterns into consideration. Making it look like an oddly colored human patch of skin instead.

Chara/class/race=any

 

Reintroduced recently Fused Gauntlets have 3 dye channels as opposed to new LS1 reward, Fused Shoulders skin.

 

Suggestion: update the gloves to 4 channels so the two can be matched.

I've noticed some really weird behavior with Golden Racing Scarf dye channels(I didn't notice such problem on any other equipment... yet?). The scarf tend to randomly dye back to some random color, which is not even the default for that item. The bug seems to be triggered during equipment tab switching. I use the scarf on a couple of equipment presets, but as seen on the video, sometimes I can get them recolored for all tabs for a couple of switches, until they seemingly randomly turn back to their weird colour.

 

I don't know if it's a bug, or if I just don't understand some finer detail of the dye system.

all classes & race.

the "fused shoulder" have a specific dye channel where the glow part is dyeable.

there is a bug or long standing issue with the "fused guantlets" where the glow part is not dyeable despite there CLEARLY existing a dye channel for it. this should be fixed to synergize well with the new fused shoulders.

Issue with armor- medium chest piece

Race: human Gender: Female Class: Ranger Item: Heart of Koda 

Issue: The belly appears from the side very large (as if pregnant), which looks off and creates a gap/cut between belly and pants. It does not allign with the body type. It would be a amazing if fixed, since it's  currently not really wearable but would elsewise be a nice armor piece.

Recently released Shiro's outfit as well as some parts on the White Tiger outfit have something odd about them going as if light bounces off of them in a wrong way.

 

Similar thing happens on female version of the Astral Scholar, where details can't "decide" if they are concave or convex - or so I think, because this is very hard to describe for a non professional.

 

Race/Class/gender: any, but in case of Astral, only female specific version.

I have the same issue with Feathers of the Zephyr glider. It's pretty disappointing since it's my favorite glider. My video card is an AMD Radeon Pro 580 (2017 iMac with Windows 10). Is this a Radeon problem?

Item: Mist Walker Coat (Medium Armor)

Race: Norn

Gender: Male

Profession: Anything medium I'd assume, though my character happens to be a ranger.

Been like this for years. Mist walker coat is transparent when viewed from the front, like the texture meant to be applied to the inside of the jacket is absent which makes the mesh see-through (most noticeable between the legs). When you turn a character around, however, the coat is where it belongs. The Flamewalker coat (which uses the same model) doesn't have this issue, and the coat isn't see-through from the front.

While equipped, Aurene's Rending has a lighting issue issue where shadows on the player character briefly brighten every few seconds when the shadows graphics setting is set to medium or higher. I've been able to replicate this issue across multiple characters of different races.

I have an RTX3080 so it definitely was not an Radeon problem alone, however it seems these issues have been resolved in the Sky Pirates update. They did not list them on the release notes.

There seems to be some sort of odd clipping around the base of neck/hairline. It doesn't blend well and looks darker compared to the face.

Item: Aurene's Crystalline Claws

Race/Gender: Sylvari Male

Class/Armor type: Ranger/Medium

 

Description:

Dye channels are absent for medium armor classes as opposed to light and heavy armor. The claws also default to black when previewing the wardrobe or change from red to yellow when changing maps.

I've tried to work around the issue by transmuting the gloves to a different piece with the same number of dye channels and dyeing accordingly, but even that fails as the gloves still revert to black.

Description: These weapons lost their "cracked" pattern that differentiate a lot from the normal holographic weapons, and it happen from night to day, it was the light that theses "cracked" pattern gave these weapons and the trace that they leave behind, that make their charm, and now is gone.

Armor Set: Holographic Koi

 

Affected/Bugged Armor Piece: Back Piece

 

Description of Issue: the preview works, but when applied to the backpiece it does not display. The backpiece is tic'd to be visible.

 

edit: found solution. It does not display when a shield is equipped and stowed on the back
